Description This new Xuechang Sun model 420 Gofriller has had the tuning machines upgraded to Rubner hatpeg machines. The Spruce top plate features narrow, even grain with the widest grain at the center. The maple ribs and back plate feature mild flame figure and moderate density, set off with a dark red varnish finish.. The unfigured maple neck has had gold single unit Rubner hatpeg tuning machines fit. The bridge sports adjusters and has a final bridge height of 6 1/2″. The endpin is an adjustable graphite unit from New Harmony. Dimensions are: Top length 43 1/2″, Upper bout width 20″, Middle bout width 14 1/2″, Lower bout width is 26 1/2″, Rib depth at tail 9″, Rib depth at upper bout corner 7 5/8″, Rib depth at neck is 7 3/8″, String length is 41 1/2″.
