Description This new Shen SB 200 maple 3/4 sized carved back bass is a very effective jazz instrument, with a strong bottom end and a nicely detailed upper midrange. The top is interesting, with lots of hazelfichte (bearclaw figure) scattered across its width and along its length. The maple has very little figure in the ribs, backplate, and neck, but shows very nice tap tones. The upgrade bridge has had adjuster added.
