Description This 2013 Shen SB 200 willow 3/4 flatback is a fine example of a bass that ha been primarily used in the recording studio and in controlled trio vocal performance settings. The spruce top is especially impressive with cosistently fine grain running across the width of the top plate. The willow back plate and ribs have a medium density, with a nice musical tap tone. The maple neck is fit with the standard brass and stainless steel tuning machines that are standard to the model. The upgrade bridge has been fit with adjusters. The ebony fingerboard has 3 inlaid pearl dots on the edge of the fingerboard and two dots inlaid on the face of the fingerboard. This bass has few signs of handling wear. Dimensions are: Top length 43″, Upper bout width 20″, Middle bout width 14 1/2″, Lower bout width 25 3/4″, Rib depth at tail 8 7/8″, Rib depth at upper bout 7 3/4″, Rib depth at neck 6 1/8″, String length 41 1/4″.
