100% Cotton Pestemal Turkish Bath Towel, 39″ x 70″ – Grey – Black

When I initially received this product, I was convinced that I would end up returning it. It felt SO stiff, especially for how thin the material was. I didn’t see how this was going to be absorbent and thought it was WAY too scratchy for my skin. However, I decided to throw it in the wash and see what happens. I’m glad I gave this towel a chance! After one wash, it was much softer (though don’t expect it to be on the same softness level as a high quality terry cloth towel) and WOW, I was surprised by how absorbent this is! The length is perfect and I love the color (even though the yellow stripes are more of a greenish-yellow hue). I’m 5’10” with a slender(ish) build, but I can still wrap this towel around me with enough left over to knot it up toga style. It’s perfect for the beach, pool, spa, or bathroom. While the fabric seems like it will hold up (and even the tassels haven’t frayed much after a few gentle washes), the edge seam has fallen out almost completely. While that is a bit of a bummer, I’m still considering buying a few more of these towels.
