This little grill pan is perfect for everyday use. I often struggle with large cast iron pans, sometimes too big/weighty for the size of my entrée and the time I want to invest in prep and clean-up. The size of this little grill is perfect. I have grilled veggies, steak, chicken and bread. Bruschetta is perfect on this.I ALWAYS oil up a new grill pan or non-stick pan. There is no such thing as a non-season or stick-free pan (seriously, the egg sliding out of the pan as seen on TV never happened), at least if you ever want to use the pan twice. Be sure to oil up the cast iron evenly around the entire cooking area and edges, especially the first several uses. A medium heat source only. Bruschetta is perfect on this. Nice grill marks on everything. When the pan cools, clean with the oily paper towel you used to oil it up. Hot water (very little soap or none most of the time). You will need a drop of dish soap now and then. Don’t overdo it and don’t soak this pan. Wipe it out, clean the bottom and dry it off.The color is gorgeous. This is a well-made product. Treat it with respect and care. I show the photo with two standard coffee cups for size.
