Heatshield Products 175102 Heatshield Armor 1/2″ Thick x 1′ Wide x 2′ Long Exhaust Pipe Heat Shield,Silver/Aluminum

This material was fairly easy to work with and definitely blocks heat from the exhaust of our motorcycle. We used it right at the beginning of the rear cylinder where the exhaust leaves the engine and the temperature transfer has been dramatically reduced! This product definitely works and hasn’t degraded in the slightest in the 300 miles the bike has been ridden since install. Folding the edges over to conceal the fibrous material as indicated in the instructions helps with the finished look, and no doubt adds stability to that material. Definitely recommend!
