I finally had to do it. With so many of the meals I make using the oven simply being too small to justify the long and costly warm up of an oven, the air fryer was simply the right choice all along.This Besile is relatively small and compact, but with more than enough space for cooking if you only need to feed 1 or 2 people. It has roughly the same footprint as a decent size coffee machine with a cooking volume about half it’s height. It has a pretty good construction in my opinion. Everything connects well, I couldn’t find any spacing issues, the knobs feel very good to use, and there were no issues in operation that I encountered. Removal of the tray and subsequent rack are easy with the handle being a good size and in a good position so you won’t hurt yourself when maneuvering it. The cord is also a nice length, not freakishly long but certainly long enough were you won’t have any trouble putting this anywhere in your kitchen.For cooking I have done pizza rolls, chicken nuggets, taquitos, and some vegetables, all cooked perfect on the first try. I wish I could try more but that was all the possible food I had to put in it for the time being. You can easily find ways to cook most things with one google search but the manual that comes with it also has the generic temperatures and cooking times for many items as well. The temperature selection seems enough and consistent with the market selection of air fryers. The time dial is nice, essentially a literal timer, ticking and beeping once done even without being plugged in. As to be expected, I was worried the items would get TOO crispy but to me delight, they didn’t. I might play around with the pizza roll temperature to find the perfect settings but chicken was fantastic.Really the only “complaint” I could feasibly come up with is why they split the 10 minute segments on the timer into 3 points? So, you can easily go by 5 minute intervals but otherwise…kind of not precise. Plus the timer does have any locking positions so it really is lining it up by eye. Doesn’t really affect much but just a little weird to have an even interval split like that.Overall, yes, highly recommend. Now that my eyes are open to the glory that is air frying, I will be spreading it like that annoying friend to everyone I know. If you do a lot of small scale oven cooking, consider an air fryer, it really is much more economical and convenient.
