It has the power needed to get those heavier, high-compression engines turning quickly and get you out for the next heat. The Bert 332 Xtreme Power starter can start vehicles with up to 18:1 compression ratios.The reverse mount setup allows much more room for clearance near the headers and other power-focused components. Plus, with a locking-style ignition terminal, it ensures smooth starting for those heavier, compression-focused builds. With any race car, weight is always a concern. This reverse mount starter only weighs 11 lbs, which would be comparable to a street car starter, but with the added benefit of reverse mounting and that high torque starting.
