Description Cast iron candle sconce This cast iron candle sconce hails from about the mid-1800s. It has a pretty heart design. A long time ago, someone painted it black to freshen it up, which was common back then. Most of that black paint has flaked off, but we chose to leave the remainder because it attests to the age of the piece. It mounts on the wall with a single nail. The candle is included in the sale. Perfect for ambiance or extra light in any room of the house. Measures 5 1/2″ high by 2 3/4″ wide by 2 3/4″ deep without the candle.
